NY State Thruway (I-87) to Exit 18
Take a left at the light onto RT 299
Follow Rt 299 through 4 traffic lights. Go through the 4th light and take the next left onto Wurts Ave.
Make a left into to the 1st driveway. Drive straight back into the rear parking lot and park in the lot marked “Rock and Snow Parking Only'“.
Additionally, there is metered street parking along Rt 299 in front of Rock and Snow or a municipal lot across the street from the store.
Important Note About Morning Meeting Location
While the Rock and Snow retail store is located at 44 Main Street, please note that our meeting location is at the Rock and Snow Annex, just a few doors down from the main store, right beside the Rock and Snow parking lot on Wurts Ave.
Multiple guide services operate out of both the retail store and the Annex, so when you arrive, enter the Annex building, and please check in at the counter. Be sure to mention that you're here for your day with Gunks Guides when checking in.

Take a left at the light onto RT 299
Follow Rt 299 for about 8.7 miles until the road ends.
Make a right onto Route 44/55.
Follow Route 44/55 for 1.8 miles. Along the way you’ll go through a hairpin turn. Look for West Trapps Parking sign on the right shortly after passing under a bridge.

Follow Rt 299 for about 8.7 miles until the road ends.
Make a right onto Route 44/55.
Follow Route 44/55 for 3.3 miles. Look for Peterskill area of Minnewaska State Park on the right.
